Women entrepreneurs in Multan got a boost in their business skills and confidence after attending a hybrid training on Business Financial Management on June 13, 2023. The training, organized and coordinated by FEMITECH, was a resounding success with 53 participants attending in person and 13 joining via Zoom.
The event brought together a diverse group of individuals eager to enhance their business financial management skills and learn from the experts in the field. The training was conducted in collaboration with NIBAF, Islamabad, Meta, FEMITECH, APWA Multan, and WCCI Multan.
What Did the Participants Learn?
The training, titled “Ideas for Impact,” covered various topics related to business financial management, such as:
- How to create a business plan and budget
- How to manage cash flow and expenses
- How to access financing opportunities from the State Bank of Pakistan
- How to use digital tools and platforms for financial transactions
- How to keep track of financial records and reports
The participants also benefited from valuable free training materials, such as books, guides, worksheets, and certificates.
Who Were the Trainers and Mentors?
The training was led by Mr. Syed Haseen Ahmad Waqas, the trainer from DEMO & NIBAF. He is an experienced trainer and consultant who has worked with various organizations and institutions in Pakistan and abroad. He shared his knowledge and insights on business financial management with the participants and answered their queries.
Additionally, Ms. Masooma Sibtain, former President of WCCIM, ex-Vice President of FPCCI, and a leading entrepreneur from South Punjab, conducted a mentorship session. She shared her journey and inspired the new startups with her success story. She also highlighted her contributions to the financial literacy program with the State Bank of Pakistan, emphasizing the importance of empowering women in the business world.

One of the main objectives of the training was to foster connections, collaboration, and empowerment among women entrepreneurs in Multan and beyond. The participants had the opportunity to network with each other and connect with relevant institutes supporting women’s entrepreneurship.
